| "80s vs 90s" Help Kids with Oncology |

See all photos by Maksim Alyokhin On May 23rd the Donetsk club youth made a step towards the kids suffering from oncological diseases. The "Do Good, Ukraine!" volunteer project, together with the "Opera" night club and the "80s vs 90s" DJ's project conducted a party aiming at collecting finances for the patients of the oncological department as well as involving the youth into the problems of infant oncology. Around 300 people participated in this action. Everyone who came to the "Opera" that night could not only entertain with their friends and receive positive energy from Donetsk DJ's sets, but also give the kids with the cancer a chance to recover. We were able to collect 2300 hryvnas. At the present moment due to the donations of private individuals we have 7000 which we want to spend on the infusomat for the oncological department. It is a medical equipment which provides a highly precise dosage of medicines and their even ingress into the organism of a kid for a long period of time. The cost of such equipment is minimum 10 thousand hryvnas. We hope that the given action will not be the last and we will be able to collect the rest of the sum, especially as very many organizations respond to our call for help with the event preparation. We received great help from the "Donetsk News", "Evening Donetsk", "Donbass" newspapers, the "Cool Radio" radio station, the "Geometry", "Top DJ", "Baby", "Encounter Donetsk" websites, the "Gorodok" park of entertainment, the "Print-Centre" typography. Generally speaking, the initial steps are made and we are happy that even in such a difficult time Donetsk inhabitants do not forget about their kids who have got in trouble! |
